Loosies have been talked about to death. For me, Jacobson and Blackadder are placeholders and squad cover at best, time for one of them to make way for a big ball player.

They're really competing against each other IMO, for what it is worth I think LJ covers more positions to an ok level. But neither are gamebreakers.

My thoughts exactly, it’s gotta be one or the other, not both

I was thinking LJ is a lot like Cane, just quicker. Hope he has better hands.

TV camera cuts to the Wellington fans with a sign saying "Beaudy is a 10 for us".

Jeff Wilson chimes in "he has had a great first half".

That's where NZ Rugby is at.

Pats on the back regardless of standards and silver centurion caps for all as long as your knees hold up.

A bit of ball carrying oomph wouldn’t go amiss either.

It irks me when guys 1.88-1.9m and about 110kg have as much impact as a fly on a windscreen.

We look so much better with Ratima and McKenzie at half’s. Scrum better in 2nd half. Williams made a difference. Clarke has been really good.

But exits for the whole game were so poor.

Sititi to 8, Lakai to 7, and we find a 6

Leave Sititi at 6, Lakai to 7 and Sotutu to 8. That trio would fuck shit up.

I wouldn't argue with that mate! Sititi looks the shit to me at 6, got the makings of best one for ABs since a certain Jerome!!!

Sititi and Vaii need to be huge up north.

Big bodies waiting for them at the gain line.

We need a loosie version of Tosi from the bench. Comfortable with ball running and a presence at the breakdown

3 is fair for Cane, Perenara didn't deserve a 3, maybe a 1 at best. How he stayed out there for over 60 mins was absurd.

Staying positive: there are basics we're executing well, and better than the last few years for sure. Ruck, contact, scrum, lineout (mostly).

A couple of defensive lapses were the issue, much like the first 20 last week

Beauden Barrett was NEVER a flyhalf.

His pace was so freakish that Wellington and the Allblacks just shrugged their shoulders and went with it.

He cannot control a game to save his life.

His pace was so freakish that Wellington and the Allblacks just shrugged their shoulders and went with it.

He cannot control a game to save his life.

Hansen’s decision to bin off Cruden and pick BB as his 10 cost him a Lions series and a World Cup.

I still think if the Bledisloe is two matches, then it should be points (4 or 5 with BP etc) then for and against etc. Would not have helped the wallabies tonight but would at least mean the second game is live.

Not perfect, but a good win.

Sam Cane, well deserved he’s always put his body on the line for the cause.

                                      The good:
Tight 5, including off the bench.
                                      Sititi, what a monster.
                                      Caleb Clarke and Will Jordan.
ALB not a highlight reel performance but did the little things very well.

Razor has been slow and steady with bringing the new guys in, the ones who have been given the chance have stood up, so it’s time to back them, hand them the reigns, and don’t stop there, bring a few other fresh faces in too.

TJ has been a good All Black, but it’s time to move on.

I’m now in the keep Jordan at fullback camp.
If they must have BB in the team, it has to be on the bench.

I’d really like to see Plummer given a decent shot.

Right wing is wide open, Reece and Telea have both been ok but haven’t set the world on fire.

Loosies have been talked about to death. For me, Jacobson and Blackadder are placeholders and squad cover at best, time for one of them to make way for a big ball player.

Reiko to the right until and only when he learns to pass properly.

Proctor at 13, ALB at 12 (or Jordie)

They're really competing against each other IMO, for what it is worth I think LJ covers more positions to an ok level. But neither are gamebreakers.

My thoughts exactly, it’s gotta be one or the other, not both

I was thinking LJ is a lot like Cane, just quicker. Hope he has better hands.

A bit of ball carrying oomph wouldn’t go amiss either.

It irks me when guys 1.88-1.9m and about 110kg have as much impact as a fly on a windscreen.

We need a loosie version of Tosi from the bench. Comfortable with ball running and a presence at the breakdown

The ABs won, and probably would have won without those couple of lapses by the Wallabies, however I think this AB team is papering over cracks, and running out of glue.

                                          1. Your scrum got slapped around by a guy on one leg. I think perhaps you're missing a big grunter with technical nous in your second row.

                                          2. I thought - besides Sititi's tearing runs - your backrow got outplayed. Savea did a couple of nice things but you surely can't keep Cane on.

                                          3. Your defensive lineout is good. Attacking lineout generally OK but if the 10th ranked team is picking you off, the top 6N sides are going to be licking their lips.

                                          4. This helter-skelter bullshit in general play isn't going to cut it against top opponents with patience and cohesion. There aren't many guys in the starting 8 who are rolling up their sleeves and smashing blokes TBH. I don't think the ABs were dominant in contact as many times as the scoreline might otherwise suggest.

I think Razor needs to be a bit honest with himself and his coaching panel and get these blokes to knuckle down or fuck off.
