You mean complete and utter bullshit the wrong way.

Holding guys down like that should earn you a slap and sit down.

Yeah. Wonder what set Simmons off?

Bet Owen Franks had a laugh at that.

With Beaudy to come in and steer the cutter behind that pack has me looking forward to the remainder of the tournament.

    And... Akira who?
Sotutu played really well and didn't deserve that yellow card. What has impressed me most is his work-rate. With him and Patty T working in tandem we have two imposing defenders.

Akira came on and looks fat and disinterested, yet again. That guy just doesn't seem to have it between the ears. All the talent in the world but doesn't look to have the drive.

There was that one tackle where his jersey got pulled right up exposing his trunk and quite frankly, what you saw was very disappointing for what should be a first class athlete.

So he's fa..., sorry, "working on his conditioning".

Has Havili ever played at 1st Five ? He could be a good back up to Mo'unga in case of emergency. The Crusaders could play Jordan or Bridge at fullback if he has to move there.

I did not expect my question to be so quickly answered by the Crusaders staff ... (see the lineup against the Chiefs).

As all above have stated, a joke of a (non) decision.

Last February, I was alone tipping the Jaguares to win the SA conference and now, they are getting closer to make me right.

Rebels were unbelievably dumb in the last ten, deserved to lose

Having not seen this particular game: they've shown a couple of idiot moments this season that I would not normally attribute to Wessels' coaching.

I'm wondering whether it actually IS his coaching, or whether they've got Genia/Cooper issues.

Now to see if the Tahs can beat a non-Aussie team without Folau.

@taniwharugby so openside and midfielders need to have the same fitness levels - the Ardie to 12 is not so outrageous afterall

I'm just gutted we'll never see a Dagg - Ardie combo at 10 and 12. Would have been impossible to contain.

Especially with DMac at 9 and Messam at 13

This is fucking ordinary. I should have gone camping

I went to the fucking game. How shit is Foley playing? Assisted no end by a scrumhalf that can't pass from the base and Beale doing, well Beale things.

Plainly obvious how often they went the wrong side, hopelessly outnumbered too. Stupid pricks.

And Ned fucking Hanigan. How is he a professional rugby player?

@antipodean yeah I can't actually see what the issue is there? However, the Reds player subsequently grabbing a tah with one hand by the back and the other hand pushing his face backwards...

Fuck sakes the Tahs are shit. Either they're poorly coached or they're just fucking uncoachable.

If Chieka has any coaching smarts, he'll be playing probables vs possibles in camp and putting the Tahs in the possibles.

@Canes4life Yep agree with all the changes suggested fro next week.
Was impressed the Canes stayed in the fight though, and that (plus Jordie's boot) is what got them over the line. Compare and contrast that with tghe Chiefs who had the bloody game there for the taking ,and let it slip from right under their noses to a much hungrier Landers side.

Soooo....Canes won, but Chiefs lost huh? As opposed to NSW lost, and landers won....

Perhaps it has something to do with the Highlanders being down to 14 men for the last 13 minutes of the game......

    Ok

Tahs found their way through the Lions early but couldn't compete as the game got more physical. They were monstered in the set piece and couldn't complete at altitude.

@crucial said in Waratahs v Highlanders - QF:

What I did do though, was try to put some understanding around their position over and above 'change the coach'. In short summary these are the points I made, and still stand by.

You make some good points. And, in fairness, Tana came in with some coaching credentials - the team just doesn't look well coached. I'm not sure why, but after 3 years the responsibility has to lie with Tana.

I realised last night that we should be over the highlanders with Sopoaga leaving. The fact htey are looking for Quade as a possibility tells you all you need to know about their depth at 10. Not good. Most years the series against the highlanders is the difference between playoffs and also-rans. This year not so much as we shat the bed, but going back that was certainly the case.

It's bloody tough trying to get a struggling team going in the NZ conference. A proper round robin would suit us far more.

Anyway, some of us still support them, even if it feels like getting smacked with a bit of 2x4 on a daily basis.
