It was material. The Chiefs prop took out Barrett and Lowe got the turn over. If lowe didn't turn the ball over it would be immaterial and no penalty needed. Barrett could have cleaned out Lowe had he not been taken out.

The niggle is an obvious tactic going into the game. They have had two hard physical local games and the Canes are soft and not ready for it. -
Chiefs forwards seem to have a bit more mongrel. Bird and BBBR are a very impressive combo.

He's a very good player but plays so much better with a clear head. He gets too wound up for my liking and the Chiefs have shown that you can easily put him off his main game

Couple of interesting calls - didn't look like the Chiefs backs were actually offside for the DMac kick on the replay and what's the tackle rule? TJ had a knee on the ground, is that considered a tackle?
