Pretty good half. Canes need to try and keep the tempo up in that first 10 minutes of the second half because as is the case with visiting teams to Ellis Park, that final 20 minutes when the lungs are burning is the toughest.

Something the Lions do pretty well is have players in motion in attack. They often have a player hitting the line at pace.
Canes defence holding up pretty well and Iike the Saders, have had to do most of the tackling in the first half.

If the Hurricanes cut out the Harlem Globetrotters carry-on and try to play with a bit more structure in the second half, they should be able to win this.

I have no issue with that breakdown penalty being awarded because that's how the game is reffed, but a tackled player basically has no opportunity these days to place the ball as the laws state.
