Wins a win I suppose. We'll do well to win another.

The big names played well for Auckland I thought (as they should against Southland who looked a bit toothless).

With how our season has gone, I'll take a bonus point win in those conditions any day.

@Dice Pretty much haha. Have to win against Otago and BOP if we wanna stay in the division as I can't see us getting up away at Ta$man and against Canterbury in the final round. Would help if Counties keep losing haha.

@African-Monkey Any of Waikato, Auckland, Ta$man or Counties could be for the drop this year.

I'm inclined to think it might be a good thing for Auckland to drop. Maybe they need to hit rock-bottom to have the conversations and interventions that need to occur! ๐Ÿ™‚

Southland now 0-5, and the only province without a win.

Last year they had Jimmy Cowan playing for them.

    I presume he has retired?

I'm hoping CM can get a roll on now that they have played the teams that are turning out to be the strongest. They still have HB, Poo, Ta$man, BOP and Northland to come. All games which should be winnable.
Auckland still have to play Canterbury and I think that can be inked down as a loss.

@Crucial Counties has dropped everyone in the shit a bit by losing to Auckland - but, probably mainly themselves.

Should get the points from HB - the others are sort of 50-50 games.

Seems like no-one will get many points from Canterbury, everyone should plan to get points from Southland and any other game is somewhat up for grabs - though some teams are favourites over others.

@KiwiMurph I declare - those bastards who administer the M10 Cup had that result wrong, when I last looked! ๐Ÿ™‚
