    Miller - you're a legend. To think that we all knew you when you were a fat, miserable, git.... :nta<br />
    <br />
    Seriously though - you must be bloody pleased with yourself.  Come an awfully long way in 4 weeks. 👏 👏 :clap

    Yes - on the condition you were slamming it to both Westenra AND Jenkins every night.

    I know this will sound stupid and boorish and blokish... but... rooting really does help. I make sure i give the Mrs roughly 3 a day and hold onto 83kg with an alcohol intake of 8 500ml cans a day and the occasional binge. I usually make it to the gym twice a week for two hour sessions and play a couple of rugby games a month. <br />
    <br />
    Follow this regimen and maybe you too can become a small god

    Why the fuck did you bother to include the rugby and gym? The rooting 3 times a day and beer drinking was god-like enough for me. I can't remember last time I had it three times in a MONTH much less a week or day <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    Back on a topic I know something about-- MvJ has been for a run tonight, his last one of the week. Am happy with my time of 19.30, even though it's well outside PB. My legs were absolutely fucked the whole way around (no doubt from last night) but I did keep going, even though the desire to stop was large and the will to live rather small.

    Friday consisted of a short jog to work, followed by 1,000 beers in front of the rugby. Today I have been on a rugby course from 8.30am-5.15pm, with the same scheduled tomorrow. I did walk off the hangover with the brisk 45 minute walk to and from Aussie Stadium. I am now going to the pub to get smashed. Fingers crossed for the below 79.8kg weigh-in tomorrow. Was 78.9 before dinner tonight!  😁

    Make sure you get drunk enough to have a big GB in the morning before weighing yourself.

    GB? MvJ had a dump in the disabled toilets in Waratahs HQ today as a subtle form of chemical warfare waged on the Crusaders' behalf. They'll probably blame Dunning.Â

    Right, done absolutely nothing since Thursday night's run, although I have walked to Aussie Stadium once and home from it twice this weekend. MvJ's weigh in (see the Announcement thread) has him at -2kg over the last month, so tonight I'm throwing a little party. Invited guests will consist only of myself. If you want to come, tough fucking luck I'll send you the photos. <br />
    <br />
    The grog is Poet's Corner (with a bottle of Teachers standing by). Cleverly MvJ realised that buying a cask of Banrock would mean I'd drink again tomorrow and that is not the go. It's been over 3 weeks since I had Banrock by the way (Damn you Kirwan!!!!!!!!) which is the longest drought in I think about 3 years. <br />
    <br />
    MvJ is currently getting shitfaced and watching Love Actually (I love you Keira Knightley, I love you, I love you, I love you) with possibly some Hayley DVD action a bit later. This is a celebration of a month's hard work so I have no problems with going hammer. Tomorrow morning I will be back on the exercycle however.

    Right, Tuesday and I am going shithouse. Did run to work this morning, no other exercise whatsoever for the last few days.<br />
    <br />
    Will crank a run tonight and training tomorrow. Social commitments are a pain in the arse. I had to farewell a friend last night (a few drinks etc), and have a birthday dinner on Wednesday. For that I have compromised and said I will turn up after training. Otherwise the week is gone before you know it.<br />

    First and only trial match this weekend  <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    Where at MvJ? I might come along and exhort your lazy arse to higher efforts <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I'll be the first person cheering for the ref <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    University of New South Wales, but it's only an internal trial so I wouldn't bother unless you're biking past (which you shouldn't be because it's miles from your place). <br />
    <br />
    MvJ has just busted his run record again (I must have done it in a wheelchair the first time) recording a 16.15. Still room for some improvement, but I was going pretty damn quick most of the way. Feels good though. Training tomorrow.

    Fuck me, just went to training and pulled my fucking hamstring... It is starting to tickle, and by fuck it is going to hurt tomorrow.

    That's the annoying thing about regaining fitness. All those muscles that had peviously been pensioned off or made redundant return with a vindictive streak. Nasty little buggers...

    If you can't train for a while, change the emphasis onto your diet and be even stricter so you don't go backwards.<br />

    I believe it is the first fatbuster injury, but actually it feels less bad today than last night which has never happened to me with an injury before. Hobbled to work though, so I just hope I can run on it on Saturday. There will only be one way of finding out... <br />
    <br />
    Entirely my own fault too for not warming up properly, and for espousing the opinion that the warm-up jog will waste energy I need to conserve, and that the warm-up stretches are "gay." <br />
    <br />
    Diet is the one thing that is going gangbusters though Kirwan; I haven't really missed the complete shit I used to eat. I haven't had fast food in over a month. And, best of all, it hasn't felt like an effort.
