    Crusaders are deservedly in front on the scoreboard. They're playing accurate wet weather rugby.

    @no-quarter

    Really clear plan and they’ve played to it. I’ve been super impressed by Mo’unga, who’s looked 100% comfortable with driving them around. He’s kicked really well, and made good decisions all night.

    Much happier about him in a black jersey. Waaaaaay ahead of Dmac

    Prinsep finishes under the posts with a good solo run. Finally the red wall is breached

    Wow, a crowd clapping a player off after an admirable performance? Was the DJ asleep at the wheel?

    Stoppages are for Sweet Caroline? Surely? They've paid their money, give them their Sweet Caroline.

    They missed Ardie being cleaned out around the head there.

    Yep. Tonight not a great night for those who refuse to criticise Beauden as a 10. On a night where he cant use his pace Beauden has done fuck all.

    On a night like this, where the Crusaders showed mastery of the conditions, why would Christchurch want to build a covered stadium and turn every game into a dry weather track meet?

    So the fans don't drown/catch hypothermia/stay in the pub?

    @canefan simple things like running close to touch line turning ball over too easy, too many passes around contact, not kicking for territory.

    Maybe cover the fans and leave the players exposed? The canes would prefer a dry hard track indoors...

    Probably so they can get a crowd of 30k rather than 10k.
