Only the second week of Wednesday games and already some tipping weariness is setting in. Missing tippers are Sportboy, Antipodean, Paj, Clara, FarNthHayden, Fiamacho, Phooey, ACT Crusader, Smudge so some teams are short on numbers this week - especially South Island. All non-tippers get 5 fewer points than the lowest total of the week so these are yet to be added to the team scores below. Also a few late tippers (including myself, I thought it was still Tuesday on Wednesday) but largely unaffected as nearly everyone picked Wellington in Game 1.
Higgins and Justin77 lead scorers with 42 points, Hooroo is on 39 with Stargazer and Langakali on 37.

You'd have to have a Black Caps like collapse to lose to Antipodean from there. I mean there are only 20 more points up for grabs, but your just never know!

Despite a plea from Dogmeat that he was genuinely off the grid, had sent his tips as soon as he was on the grid and that he had no idea of the score in the Harbour v Canterbury game - I have to be like the umpire in the US Open final and follow my rules - Dogmeat nil points.
But I don't believe he was lying, I know he's a good person!

We're all up to date at www.thesilverfern.com/tipping including the all of the scores - and the tipping form is ready so make sure you get in by 7.30pm on Wednesday.
Fiamacho had a fantastic week, the only one who went for the blow-outs and ended with a huge score of 74 - 18 clear of the field. Tim and FarNthHayden the only others to pick 8/8.
The Northland scoring was solid and with Fiamacho's score they thrashed Wairarapa Bush to increase their lead at the top and retain their perfect score. With 2 rounds to go, Northland are already in the semi-finals, Wellington won again to go second and be almost sure of a top 4 place. The other 2 spots look to be between Bush, Hawke's Bay and Harbour-Auckland. Down in the cellar, 3-player BOP scraped their first win over 4-player South Island.
Overall, Stargazer's lead has been cut to just 3 over Langakali with Higgins 4 further back. After plunging out of the top 10 by forgetting to tip last week, Fiamacho has shot back up to 4th just ahead of Gunner.

There is a change to the scoring!!!!
Bay Imports was travelling, missed the first game and then emailed me his picks for the other 7 games - I immediately forgot this! So he wasn't a non-tipper with 19 points, he was actually an active tipper with ..... 25 points. No change to any results, BOP still win their game but by 36-34 and Bay Imports is still beaten in the TSF Cup by Stargazer - but only by 16 points and not 22 ....
