Started OK, died in the arse on endurance due to lack of exercise. Being sick is crap in more ways than one.
New weight loss cycle starting today.

Aim is simple: get below 90 kg and put myself in a position to stay there. Body fat percentage is probably a key thing here and I'm going to try and find a decent set of scales that measure it.

Timeframe is 6 weeks - through to June 29.

Today: 93.0 kg, Chest 105 cm, Waist 98 cm, Hips 103 cm.
Walk this morning - it's too cold to run having just gotten over the hacky cough-cough bull shite I've just been experiencing. Covered 5 km in just under 41 minutes

Think I'm going to need to start running at work - either lunch time or before heading home in the afternoon. At night or early morning it's just too fucking cold.

I'll review that decision once my five fingers socks turn up
Karate tonight. Felt really good actually.

Diet has been good the last two days. The focus is removing all forms of priced sugar as a starting point - so back to first principles really. But I'm not such a carb Nazi this time around.

Will go for a run at work tomorrow - start some stretching exercises as well to help the side kicks in karate which I'm very bad at
-

Push up routine tonight in ten minutes while Chiefs v Crusaders is on.

25, 16, 12, 12, 15, 10, 10, 10 - total 110.

Seriously ordinary. Must have been the rum I had after work and the lack of condition in general...

Minutes rest, then cat voms x 12 then some stretching.
4, 5, 4, 3, 3

Took me to 10 minutes for 50 and finished with 25 push ups after a minute's rest

Had a team dinner at a local brewery last night... Well it's a glorified pub where they supposedly make their own beer. But the Pale Ale was nice, if a bit sweet. Barramundi was good too.

5 km run this morning - 24:47 which was what I was aiming for is sub 5 minutes. Weigh in time! From last week
92.2 kg - mostly due to last night's binge

Chest 106
Waist 97
Hips 102
91.6 - quite happy after the beer and a can of Jim n Coke
Chest 107
Waist 96
Hips 102

Now I'm noticing anther issue: stretch marks. Left over from the fat days, they're not the big angry red ones but the older, silvery type

Anyone got suggestions?
Bad weekend for eating

Back was sore after yesterday's working bee shit. Had a nap this afternoon and then, while watching the ODI, decided to crack out some push ups as the back felt better

30, 25, 20, 15, 10 = 100.

Then squats 25 x 2
