@kev totally agree it’s not one of Ruru’s strengths ,his kicking from the base is awful,why you would try a box kick when Israel Folau is gonna be the guy who fields it is beyond me...in 2 minutes we have seen 2 average red zone clearances which result in either more possession ,field position and eventually a try from a lineout drive..

Ruru is also slow clearing the ball and organising. Sure it gives Plummer time to set for the kick but it also gives the Tahs lots of time to prepare to charge it down.

@Steven-Harris hope they adjust in 2nd half - kick long or run it out. Had no ball going forward in 2nd 20 with penalties. Before that dominated contact zone and rucks.
