    Why kick Cameron?

    I blame Grant Fox

    You spelt Steve Hansen wrong.

Nah. We all know Grant saw a mirror image of himself in young Brett so selected him.

Forgettable first half, but excellent second.

Mo'unga definitely the in-form first five at the moment; very good in that 2nd half. Scott Barrett and Crotty also very good again and, apart from two errors, David Havili had another good one, too. Sam Whitelock, Jordan Taufa and Bryn Hall excellent impact from the bench.

Not good that Owen Franks has shoulder problems again.

Absolutely dreadful: those high tackles from the Brumbies. There should have been at least another card, but apparently Peyper didn't have the guts to reduce the ponies to 13.

I loved how Whitelock was on fire in this passage of play! (See video in article)

@Stargazer 3 yellows is generous, there were at least a half dozen high shots there, and a couple more were yellows. The (correctly) disallowed try should have been a yellow and penalty try.

Just watched the highlights again, and that second high tackle on Jordan should definitely have been a yellow, too.

The inconsistency of calls. Although I hate the crusaders Strange get hit in the head and doesn’t score yet scrum! If the play the law it’s a yellow and penalty try.

Three high tackles in the act of scoring now. One is a scrum to Brumbies. One is a try plus yellow but conversion missed rather than penalty try and the third is just a try and no further sanction.
This sort of shit is killing rugby watching for me.

In retrospect the second two didn't prevent the tries from being scored, or from being scored in a better position, although I was shouting for penalty tries in both cases.

    Missed the one on Strange.

@Stargazer Wonderful attitude from Will Jordan, really impressed with him this year, working hard for team, enjoying the challenges of adding to his game and becoming a better player.

Lots of competition for places, but I'm sure the national selectors would have noticed too. Potential World Cup squad bolter.

@sparky Yeah Jordan reminds me a little of how good Bridge was last season. Don't think Bridge has been quite as good in 2019 for whatever reason (play not going his way perhaps) - butJordam has been impressive , I like his attitude - we are lucky to have both.
