@Nepia said in SR Final: Crusaders v Jaguares: That Jaguares4life dude has ruined Don;t confuse trolling with a bit of chat and having some fun This is a Kiwi forum so I have to amplify a little bit I understand about the Irish Lovely bunch when they were competitive but never beating the Kiwis- easy to patronise and say well done for a good game FOH with that mentality for me Irish beat the Kiwis twice in 2 years & are entitled to celebrate Jaguares have nothing to lose If they're in the game at half time they've a good chance of winning Vamos Jaguares This is how Jaguares celebrate post match

@KiwiMurph said in SR Final: Crusaders v Jaguares: It feels like scrum battle is going to be hugely important. Crusaders look to have a huge edge at scrums on paper but can they make it count? - Brumbies had a big edge last week at scrum time but the way the game went they weren't able to really capatilize. Scrums will have negligible impact on the game apart from kicking over penalties and for territory Jaguares have given away ~40 penalties this season at scrum time It was how the SA sides were able to compete with against Jaguares bit they still lost anyways Brumbies and Chiefs as well in playoffs Lineout time is the real battle Petti has most lineout steals in the Comp
Whitelock is also a menace Great battle in storeSaders best chance of winning is a blitz in 1st 30 mins Play with tempo and get a big lead Jaguares have the fitness to play 80 mins & an equally high quality bench

@Jaguares4real I don’t think it will be a blitz in the first 30,finals are normally hard tough scrap for every inch affairs
The Crusaders are in their 3rd in a Row so will be well prepared for the hard slog
Few tries I think and hard fought ones at that

Few tries I think and hard fought ones at thatI'd tend to agree Lions were a very open & loose side who would play from anywhere and everywhere whenever possible Jagaures will not afford Crusaders any such luxuries They'll kick alot for territory & force mistakes trough linespeed and intensity in defence Then attack off turnovers & unstructured play through their dangerous outside backs

@Jaguares4real looking at a test match here
The Crusaders will play the same to a certain extent attack up the middle kick for space wether it’s in behind the rush defence or wide to the wingers for space.
And look to move turn over ball quickly into space . Attack the set pieces to assert some pressure.

Hugh amount so would say may ease some mental doubts come WC time.Fair Dinkum Bloody best team the Crusaders have ever played, ya know! can't remember where i heard this, but apparently they completely destroyed teh Hurricanes. At the Caketin no less. While the Crusaders could only sneak past them. At home #nailedon #cantlose #handthemthetrophynow #dynastystartshere Bro, I’m not even going to watch. I’ll be too busy gearing up for a big Warriors performance against the Newcastle Knights.

But latest forecast suggests it will clear before tomorrow night, temperature will still be single figures but hopefully not raining. Very happy we've sold this one out, when they released ticket prices I was skeptical.

The Jaguares and SANZAAR are both paid a fee, and I've read previously that it's better to be playing away in a final (from an economic perspective) if your ground capacity is low.

I know Saders have to chip in £125,000 to Jaguares don't know if it that's £, NZ$ Didn't know they had pony up to SANZAAR as well If that's true

But chilly here at the moment: 20 degs
