My main worry for this game is that it is the first we've played this season where we are not only expected to win but expected to win easily. 13+ to us is the favoured result at the TAB. I worry that we will stop doing the hard work that has got us into this position (especially in defence) and may also be tempted to rotate too much.

Anyone suggesting anything other than a big BOP win has clearly not watched any of Northlands games this year. Either that or you have rocks in your head.

        Team to face BOP:

        Tu'ungafasi, Atkins, Straker
        Sweetman, Caird
        McNamara, Matich, Matiu
        Nock, Debreczeni
        Hohaia, Johnson
        Rae, Roberts-Te Nana, Gregory

Bench: Hyde, Te Whata-Colley, Wright, Funaki, Stokes, Levien, Smith, Leilua

Injured: Ranger, Robinson, Goodhue, Hawkins, Brynes, Olsen, Jacobson, Mayanavanua, Tua

Sigh, back to the Hohaia-Johnson mid-field.

Perhaps just award us the five points right now - so that we don’t interrupt the demise of the Northland Union with match day posts? πŸ™‚

EDIT: too late, I see a team naming post has broken out!

Yep, a Mafia too lazy to maintain a website these days...

The Manawatu win over Canterbury still has me looking for those banana skins. We’ve lost to you lot too many times to take anything for granted... (but if you’d like to hand over the points now, we’d be very happy πŸ™‚ )

@taniwharugby after seeing the Turbos tear the form book after last night..hoping the boys take some inspiration from that result..one thing that always impresses me about Taniwha supporters on this forum ,like their supporters who turn up to games , they never shy away wether they win or lose and are always open to a debate .
