@Yeetyaah definitely have not had the run of the green by the official ,I think if Waikato could play this game again, a little bit tighter from the start would have been the go..they have been playing catch up from the 30th minute..
@Steven-Harris totally. The way they've played, they don't deserve to win, but the officiating has been a joke. Same thing happened last week with Waikato. Consistently inconsistent.

@Yeetyaah this game should have been way closer than the final score would suggest, especially if the official had been consistent..seen this picture before , I thought the Turbos got stitched up in their shield challenge earlier in the comp and it’s so crucial in close games..
The 2 wingers Nareki and Koroi were bloody outstanding, both great on their feet and superb kicking games...
Waikato pack will be spewing with the game management behind the scrum..real shame because Tupaea looks bloody good..
I think next year could be Waikato’s year.. -

. Agree with you though. Koroi and Nareki were unreal. Waikato forwards were good. Back 3 defence was shit. Tupaea was a bit quieter than usual. -
I know I am biased here, but I really found the calls of the ref and touchies perplexing throughout this match. Waikato did not help themselves with constant errors - but should have been in the match

It's a Shield game. That's why they are hard to win. You can find bizarre reffing calls favouring the holders going back decades.
