    Fifita has shown in 13 minutes that he isn't an 8. Why isn't Ben Nicholas starting, he has been brilliant all year. Typical Wellington decision making - brainless.

    I'm not sure what he was up to early doors but he's had a great last five minutes. I like the concept of Fifita at 8.

    As I previously described before the match against Auckland he has the greatest difficulty in clearing up the loose ball when his scrum is backpedaling under pressure (something that is known to happen to the Wellington scrum a number of times per match) and that was graphically illustrated tonight. That skill is an essential part of a No. 8s skill set, something Fifita does not possess to any degree that would inspire you with confidence in him.
