Absolutley they should have. Endless rucks 5-10m out right in front of the posts should result in a dropgoal attempt.

Otago boot it out to end the 80 minutes. Obviously not willing to try and win the game and relying on a penalty kick shoot out!

This has been a fun game. No matter who wins it has been fun.
I think the ref has been good. He's been consistent in his decision making. Not as strict as some might like but at least he hasn't picked and chosen when to enforce the laws.
I have always felt that if Mabey focused on his reffing he might be a top ref. On the other hand he is excellent on the radio too.
