We can hide ads for members of a group. You get added to a group if you pay something?

The google stuff its getting annoying. Both how invasive the ads recently became and how much time it takes to cleanup posts to remove a flag
What are our options?
A small patreon for people who want to help with costs? Maybe that removes ads for everyone?

Yeah, we had it in the old software. With the changes Duluth has been making we have more options again on how to handle that.
To be honest, I'd like some ideas from people because the google ad reviews are getting painful.
We could chuck up a Patreon and people that donate/subscribe there can be added to a group that no longer sees adds?
As we have low costs, it wouldn't take much to cover those entirely and just remove the ads altogether. And if we go over we can put that into better hardware/memory to improve performance or add features.
What are people's thoughts?

I'm definitely willing to pay if it means we slide out from under the current regime. It's bad for all involved.
How many regular users to we have? 20? 30?

Heavy daily posters? There's a few more than that
Regulars is more like 200
Readers vs posters is huge. That gap continues to grow (because of phone vs pc I think)

I'm in for patereon or sending a few via PayPal. Or we all just pool the money and put a multi on every week for $50 and if you lose you are out. Cream will rise to the top turn $500 into $5000 and 10 years of hosting etc.
