Our strengths have turned into weakness simply because NZ rugby has run out of players to service all teams. I would argue Highlanders are weakest team on paper NZ has produced for a long time!

Our strength of our team is our AB 9-10. I know - let's split that up - put a worse player at 10 and also weaken our midfield at the same time. Genius.
@KiwiMurph I think Mauger is the only who understands why he's doing that. You'd think the first few games would have been an indication that it doesn't work ...

@KiwiMurph Health and safety of players comes first. The Rebels know well enough it would be the same if it was one of their players going down like that.

Rebels would argue it was nowhere near play and the healthy and safety of the player would be attended to exactly the same without the game being stopped.
