Hurricanes v Sunwolves

not sure too much weight will be added to performances today, some very poor play by the SW...despite that try
-
Yeah it’s more of a training run. You can only play what’s in front of you I guess.
-
This game has gone to the shit in the last 10 mins. No injuries please.
-
Which other NZ teams play the SWs? Chiefs a few weeks ago. Crusaders in a few weeks in Brisbane. Who else? Or only these three?

Highlanders do too.
Blues miss out on the free points.

@KiwiMurph Good games to increase the points differential.

Bring on proper round robin next year.

Jarred Adams is bloody quick for a guy who is 130kg+. There were a few times in this game where he is keeping up with the Canes' backs on linebreaks.
-
@African-Monkey Pretty sure he's back. I remember him signing an extension last year.

Not the strongest opposition today. But for a team who are without their two best, Superstar players from last season and who lost their coach just before the season, the Hurricanes ain't doing too bad.
@sparky Yup 3 from 4 is a good start especially as they were written off before the start of the year. They have a good culture there and will no doubt be there come playoff time.

@African-Monkey were they? They were second favourites at the TAB when the season kicked off.

@sparky also we have Coles and Barrett to come back aswell.
My view on the Canes atm is mostly a positive one. We have a strong set piece (about time), we seem to have game breakers right across the park and the players look to be enjoying their work. My worry is obviously at 10 and if we get any further injuries to key players like Perenara or Lomax then we could be in trouble. I also think because we have so many X factor players, we are tending to push the pass a tad too much, hopefully we can find some patience moving forward.
The next three weeks will be a good gauge of where this side is at. I expect the Canes to get the job done at home next week, but I am obviously weary about our trips away to the Chiefs and Crusaders following that. Winning 2/3 will be a great result IMO.

@Canes4life Sorry I was talking more about people on here tbh.
