I guess it means if Smith somehow manages to trip over a player before even making contact with them it wouldn't be a card but other penalties are likely to be

Ioane is the best number 8 in NZ with Sotutu out. Big game today. A bit more confidence on attack would be great.

Definitely looks like he's playing within himself in attack - it's almost like he's on coaches instructions to play tight and is sticking to it.
