Massive congratulations to Dan Hawkins on reaching 50 games. A brilliant servant to the Northland team!

That front row despite the 'greenhorns' should be pretty good at set peice, Olsen and Kearns are pretty mobile, Kearns looks a strong defender too, not seen Li but has pretty decent wraps on him (debut for us, but played for NH) from club footy

Goodhue & Caird, solid locks, our lineout seems to function best with Goodhue, and Cairds height, hopefully we can use this.

LIke the look of our loose trio, Matich possibly unlucky not to get the nod at 7, assume Jacobson is injured again unless Pryor leapfrogged both him and Matich? McNamara there for a bit of size at 8 though, Robinson, nuff said.

Nock, hopefully can build on his performances in the Blues.
Hawkins, well known I'm not a fan (as a player, the few times I have interacted with him off the field, seems a real GC though) only been a few games I can say I was impressed with his play, but hopefully his 50th is one we remember for the right reasons.

    Liking that mid-field.

Hyland is a vital part of our back division whenever we are needing to get go forward! Leilua, showed glimpses last year, may have been carrying an injury.
Not sold on Gergory at 15 (struggled for us last year there and had a forgettable game for the Highlanders there too) possibly better to put him at 12, Goodhue to 13, and Ranger to 14 with Leilua at 15 which I believe is his preferred position?

Bring it on and those 6 x 100 person bubbles at the game 🤦

@taniwharugby Where’s the info about the bubbles? Last thing I saw was so bloody woolley I had no idea what they were doing?

@Machpants I only know as I saw the CEO on the news on Wed night, not sure how they determine who gets into the bubbles.

ALl season ticket holders have been (or will be) refunded for the season, which to me indicates no dropping levels in the immediate future.

@Machpants TBH I reckon they could do way more than 6 bubbles, but issue woudl be managing them.

Assume boxes could still be used as well?

Shit situation all round, I reckon with the double header of the mens and womens games, with BF's and Goodhue. Robinson, we woulda had some good numbers turn up!

Average ref. Goodhue wasn’t tackler and pinged for not releasing.
