I've never been able to convince her to stop scratching mozzie bites, so my confidence in that working is low ;)
5.5 km walk this morning in under 42minutes. I jogged (6:00/km) for 1km and had no ill effects, so good signs from the chiro visit.
Glad I got it done early: predicted 37C here today, and will be over 40 in the sun.

Fuck that shit. Was yarning with a mate who did some work north of Perth in Summer a few years ago and he said it was 30 odd when he went to sleep then dropped really low ( cos he was in the desert ) forcing him to put the blanket on before it was back to the 30s at 6am.....

Even a warm day in Welly convinces me to do something other than cardio half the time.

Fucking muggy here this morning. Last night was a shunt, too.

Anyway, got out this morning by myself (Miss TA was still asleep) and clocked 5km in 43 minutes. Ran the 2nd km at a higher pace than Wednesday (05:32) and started to get the vision thing. This time it was less black spots and more like the scintillating scotoma mentioned above, but not as bright I suppose. Hard to tell. Anyway, I backed off to walking and will build into that.

Get a tap on the shoulder at 0622 hours - Miss TA was awake and ready to go. Except she wasn't, so after I got ready (< 2 minutes) we spent 10 minutes finding her shoes, socks, and running shorts.

Cut it a bit short this morning as I wasn't sure when the pool guys were turning up to replace all the pump equipment. In addition to the solar panels + PowerWall going on this week, its quite a costly week.

2.63km in 28:53 with a little bit of light jogging.

PR people associated for the PowerWall install are being very strict about how this goes in terms of public release - so this conversation never happened, right?

System installed today, and first day was good - overcast here but still got 22kW in through the panels. Once they get all the battery stuff hooked up it'll be schweet. Will cut the existing bill down by 80-90%, with ROI at current rates of around 8 years for the whole system. Price goes up, ROI shrinks.

Today I've spoken to the local paper (in person, and photos), The Australian (on the phone, photos), news.com.au (phone only), mashable (photo), and gizmodo (email).

I was on TV tonight about the PowerWall mainly, on The Project here on the Ten network.

The 10 panels photographed are only half the story, as the other section of roof is a bit too high to photograph from the back yard.

I'm the bloke with the least style in these shots. Great head for radio!

So cool!!!

I always dreamed of owning a porche as a kid. Until I saw a Tesla roadster.

Now the dream is to own any kind of Tesla motor. It would be amazing. But best part of 70K Euros here in France.

Yeah not cheap here either - Model S starting around $150K i think. Fully loaded: over 200,000 smackeroos.

Model 3 will be interesting from Tesla. Meant to be their mid-sized commuter priced around USD30K. We'll see.

Phone call at 6AM. ABC National radio wanted to have a chat. Its starting to get to the point now where my work is a place to relax, away from all these intrusive media people.

So Miss the Aussie wanted to go for a walk and the interview wasn't until after 7 - we did 1.8km as she wore herself out in the first 1000m running. But bloody good effort, particularly compared to her older brother who, at 6AM, was playing Terraria on his fucking iPad. Why the hell did we ever buy those things?

Radio interview was fine, Channel Nine are coming some time today.

By the time I settle down for a beer this afternoon I'll have spoken to a metric shitload of people about this thing.
