@Bones Eastbourne are playing the Axemen in the cutainraiser at The Caketin. It is a quarter final match in the National 80/80s (AKA Under 85kgs ) Championship. Kick off at 11.30am from what I got told (or was that 11.05am?). It is being televised live on one of the Sky Channels in case you can't make it to the ground. Will be taking my boots along (I am under 85kg!) just in case

I can see Wellington taking this game but by less then 6, Harbour always seem to get really close to us when we play at the home.
@mikey07 really depends what kind of Wellington side turns up. They could win this game comfortably or lose it comfortably. It's been a roller coaster ride so far this year.

@Higgins yeah saw that! Awesome eh, Welly teams dominating nationally. Unfortunately I might be delayed making it to the ground and not sure I'll be able to find a sky channel feed. I'm UK based in case ya missed that one...
Up the seagulls!
@Bones A pretty close battle with a couple of intercept tries (one to each team). Your mob getting theirs with about ten minutes to go proving to be the difference. They won 22 - 15.
It is not really a Wellington domination of the grade as there are only Wgtn, Waikato, and Auckland (possibly Nth Harbour) that really have organised unde3r 85Kgs Competitions. The Axemen only finished 6th in the Wgtn one after they lost a couple of crucial games by conceding late points whereas Eastbourne eventually finished runners up in the Competition to Upper Hutt
-
Ruben Love has come into the starting side for PUJ. Proctor moves to 13.

@Canes4life Who has taken Love's place on the bench?

@Stargazer Renata? Not too sure.
Early signs look like North Harbour are the dominant side. Hope i'm wrong.
