    I'm probably late for this but any interest from the Dunedin based franchise?

          @number-10 Looks very much like a makeshift XV damn it all. Gives the Naki a bit of a fighting chance of achieving some sort of result. I admit I am still staggered everytime I read the lineup when it starts with 15. Kurt Baker.

            @Magpie_in_aus

            By my reckoning 15 of this Taranaki 23 were in the Taranaki 23 that took the Ranfurly Shield off Canterbury.

            The eight named to play tomorrow who didn't line up against Canterbury are:
            8 Sowakula
            10 Perofeta
            13 Halls
            18 Faletagoa'i
            19 Hoeata
            21 White
            22 Rona
            23 Rei

                  Do you share their opinion or can you confirm with your insider knowledge that he has the best agent in the world and we have to play him every game regardless of form? 😜

                    @Nepia Well not quite for the entire game as last week we were spared ten minutes of his antics (or should that read something more like ineptitude?).

                        @Nepia

                        I don't find him (Baker) unworthy.

                        I think he's been safe defensively and done some good things on attack.

                            I'm sure it's my bias but this ref/ARs doing my head in.

                            When mcnicol lost it in the tackle that naki played was coming from an offside position to kick it. Then the naki half fumbled as he went to play it a couple minutes later and IWW should have been onside.

                            He just did the same thing penalty against the naki after the half knocked it.

                            Nothing annoys me more then half backs and quick taps. Works once every fifty times. The other 49 are disaster.
