Yeah I was pleasantly surprised! Found the telly had a browser app, logged into liverugby on there and maximised, hey presto! It buffered once just prior to the game but was otherwise seamless and better than the Amazon streaming from last year.

@bones maybe a bit harsh, and it aint like I havent been wrong before, but thier set piece looks like it will struggle against the other sides, which will put all other aspects of thier game under pressure, Smith only has so many rabbits in his hat!

Hmm... lineout tweaks aren't hard to implement and there's 2 AB locks to come back.
Scrum is as good as last year at least, which didn't lead us to the wooden spoon. It got more reliable throughout the season.

Brown can't have been impressed with TUJ's early season form. As he talked him up as a likely starters only a few months back

Hmm... lineout tweaks aren't hard to implement and there's 2 AB locks to come back.

Maybe. Those short passes that might be marginally forward get missed all the time. It deserved a try because of the Tu'u poor effort
Incidentally Tu'u only made 3 tackles in the match. He finished last year with a string of low effort games on defence too. Good attacker, but need to add more to his game.
I thought they subbed the wrong loosie first. Frizell was going well and got subbed at 49mins. He's comfortable at SR level

Fairly weak point. If you let Crusaders have that one, you ought to chalk up 7 for disallowed Clan try, so at least a losing bonus point. And completely different last ten.

Spot on I read this a lot after the Crusaders win,No matter by how much or little there always is a bitch session, disappointing its an opposition coach here doing it.Blues fans from the 80's copped this same stuff just because they were too good for everyone.

@pakman just got a Sony, sorry for the life of me can't remember the model number! Cheapish 49 inch uhd model with Google TV. There was already a browser app on it when I looked so gave that a bash.
Think it only set us back 600 odd from Amazon...
Got a cheaper bigger screen Phillips I'll try it out on next week..

I wasn't hugely disappointed by the display. The little knock on by Fakatava and we would have only been a couple of points behind.
There's enough to build on. I thought Renton and Fakatava were good off the bench. Coltman's throwing was a nightmare (again).
We need a bit of punch in the midfield, losing Paea was huge in pre-season.
I still think we are a good bet for third, winning it or even making the final is a long way off. But, I can't see any reason why we won't beat the Chiefs or the Hurricanes. All three teams have significant weaknesses. The Crusaders and the Blues are a cut above. The other three sides in their own fight.
I expect the Hurricanes to come last.
