@nepia I'm not claiming to be right. I would just find it odd if he's left out of the "Maori graphic" by accident, twice. You'd think he would have told them it was wrong.

My old man was a Mike. My sisters husband is a Mike. Three of my cousins partners are Mikes.

@mikey07 Yeah, I don't know; as I said, I would find it really strange if the Canes got it wrong in their graphics both in 2020 and 2021. They're pretty proud of their heritage and of the celebration of the Pasifika culture. You'd expect them to make sure it's all checked and double-checked and that players would tell them if they forgot their iwi.

Could just be a nod to him being a proud kiwi. I know that might not be completely palatable to some but if you've seen enough people with them from around the world with zero cultural connection , I'd say a kiwi with no Maori ancestry with them is way down the scale of inappropriate. Not for me to say I guess.
