@barbarian not sold on the current iteration of To'omua - he hasn't looked right for the Rebels and was a bit of a handbrake on their attack I think. Looks very passive.
I give him the benefit of the doubt, I think he's one of the few blokes we have who gets better when he pulls on the gold jersey.

@nta Is the reserve hooker also the reserve hooker for the Brumbies? If so then you had better hope that the starting rake does not get injured early on in the game and requires replacement.

Lonergan has played well this season and a debut from the bench is fitting reward for his form.

Given the lack of experience in that backline can see why they've gone To'omua.
I'd play him at 10 instead of Lolesio for the first test.

I think they last had an almost gold version of a jersey back in 88 in Poidevin's pomp, but even then it was slightly orange, since then it's seemed to have been
cowardcanary yellow. -

@nepia They have changed it this year, it's much more gold than it was before.

Yeah that's much closer to the 88 orange that Lloyd Walker struggled to keep over his tummy.

Very good, RA had a competition for the permanent colour of the Wallabies jersey, and they went for

@barbarian That actually looks like a Wallabies jersey, good move.

A pretty solid Wallaby team, with JOC and Nic White the only real injury losses. Will be great to see how that pack measures up to the French.
By all accounts it's a mix of A, B and C grade Frogs, so who knows how they will go. I'm not going to underestimate them, there's more than enough talent in there to win this game.

You could probably argue that Petaia & Vunivalu start if they are fit aswell.

Should be sponsored by Terry’s not Cadbury

Auckland Rugby is sponsored by Hira Bhana potatoes. They're great folk, and staunch supporters, but a potato brand isn't the elite yuo'd expect. Shows how far NPC has fallen regrettably

@canes4life MK and Wright are the incumbents and have been reasonably good this year while Vunivalu has been mostly injured and Petaia very hot and cold.

What about Hodge? Or is he injured?
He would have provided some experience from the bench, and an option to take those long-range penalties. Oh wait...
