I think both team are milking it a little bit by pushing the guys over ball down - need to move further forward stopping the defender from getting close to the ball.

Tactically I think South Africa like DDA running at Smith and Slade. The maul looks like it might cause some real damage.

Penalty only is the correct decision but would have been a yellow by the laws (arm with force to the head --> lower punishment because he was falling). Certainly hurt more than the Codie Taylor tackle...
