Simmonds and Lawes might be a weak point in the front row. Genge and Stuart might be a tad slow in the loose and we all know Marler isn't the flashest lineout thrower.

For me it's putting the slow, useless Youngs and his ability to kick away any useful possession. Totally crap.

                  furbank < steward
                  Steward<malins
Youngs slower than Randall and has been shit at kicking and decision making
Too many “he can do a job” forwards and not enough specialists.
Lack of impact, point of difference or balance on the bench.
All in all, a team picked to strive for the losing bonus point.

Looks like a mismatch on paper. Lawes and Itoje and the bench props should hold their own but France looks superior elsewhere. Are Johnny May Anthony Watson and Owen Farrell all injured like Curry and LCD?

2nd place on the World Rankings for France if they pull this off, I think.

Genge hanging in the back field to return the kicks. Then fails at the first scrum... too tired?

This Genge tactic is working in isolation, but the England backs laboured passing is killing the space created.
