I wouldn't be surprised if he named Gareth Evans on the bench at some stage, not noticing he hasn't been at training for a while and forgetting that he has let him go from the squad!

How the hell are players meant to get any momentum in their game when they don't know where they stand. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a mass exodus at the end of the year, surely the players are sick of the inconsistency in selections. I certainly would be if I was Flanders, PUJ, Rayasi etc.

In reality the first two would be really suitable for the Landers, but we need a strike winger. We could turn Rayasi into an AB, which is looking less likely at the Canes.

@nepia He must be destined to one of the other teams the Magpies feed players to, obviously he does not qualify for the MPs so it must be to your Chiefs.

He's better than both of them, but don't get me wrong I'd love him at the Chiefs for the inevitable times when Jacobson is injured.

Agree, but prefer they are spread around teams to get game time - if he as added to the roster there'd be 4 HB origin 6/8s when Renton is included
. Although the best outcome is for that dickhead Holland to start Flanders for the Canes. -
@nepia You may want to temper that a bit for the next game anyway as only S. Funaki and E. Enari are starting and L. McClutchie on the bench and then there is S. Kata in the number 12 jersey.

Unbelievable, the Plodder is starting at 6 again - Perenara was awful last week, he was stuffing around looking at the ball at the base of the rucks instead of trying to fire the it out as quick as possible... Proctor shouldn't be at 13, O'Sullivan should have his spot{our best midfield combo would have to be Umaga-Jensen/O'Sulivan} & prefer J.Barret at 15, also J.Savea has a really poor work rate, amazing Rayasi isn't playing in his position.
Love is a better 10 than fullback.
Think someone on TSF said Holland might be signing up with a team in the UK, certainly hope that is the case. -

TBH, for his Canes starting prospects it's probably better he doesn't come home.

That's true... everything starts at the top, we should be looking for the right people to have on the Hurricanes Board, so they then have better nous to appoint a good head coach.

@canes4life Haha, but it fits so well in their appointment policy, doesn't it? Not appointing the best, but just from within. After all, that's how he got that assistant role so quickly after just one season as assistant with the Wellington Lions.
I've said it before, but NZR should have tried to get Ozich a gig at a NZ franchise. Now just hoping that - after his two(?) years at the Force - someone is smart enough to bring him back to NZ. Brings much more to the table than Jane, Bleyendaal, Ellison and some other former players in similar roles in NZ without much coaching experience and results.
