Have the Chiefs scored yet?
It seems they were destined to never score a try last night.Man, that was a frustrating game to watch live. The Blues forwards certainly dominated the breakdown, and adapted to Williams better. I really question the decision to go for the lineout at the end of the 1st half when the Chiefs had a big advantage in the scrum. McMillan made some strange substitutions too.

Made a bet with one of my bosses who's a Blues fan that I'd wear a Blues jersey to work if the Blues won and he'd wear a Chiefs jersey if the Chiefs won. I work in South Auckland so kinda fringe I suppose. Anyway got my Blues jersey on ready for work lmao.

That Blues defensive effort reminded me of the Brumbies Crusaders game back in 2000. The defensive stand at the end of teh game, with tight forwards just refusing to give up and lay down, getting up and back in the line over and over was magnificent. MEmorable rugby, and I think until the Lions got a pass to the final, the only away win in a final?

I think what you are referencing is an away win in another country? Yep only Crusaders in Canberra and Crusaders in JoBurg.

@duluth Gets better every time I see it. Telea must be getting into the conversation for the All Blacks, huge workrate, has cut down his mistakes. Can he play on the right?
@kirwan It was weird last weekend as despite wearing 14 Telea popped up on the left. Telea can definitely play both wings though.
He's probably still on the outside looking in just due to numbers but I think this weekend vs Crusaders will be a great barometer for him as Bridge schooled him under the high ball down there a few years ago but since then Telea's high ball work has greatly improved.

I'd rather see him in a black jersey than G. Bridge. The latter is known to be safe (that 2022 SA game aside) but is not of international calibre in terms of danger for the opposition.
It would be interesting to see his stats (defenders beaten, meters gained, aso).
