Just in that play: 18 dropped the ball under no pressure, had no one in any position to gather the kick, won a turnover and then failed to get support there and lost is back.

Dalton is streaks ahead so far this year. Easily the form 7. The difference between the two that we aren't privvy to is if Cane is pacing himself for later in the season. The other problem for Cane is that Dalton is also leader (maybe already better than Cane) and Cane has never cemented himself as a good captain at Super or AB level.

The Brumbies have been as good as the Chiefs have been bad.
Chiefs not treasuring the ball, inept defensive choices and some dreadful skill execution. They deserve to lose.

@Mattasaurus I would say very,very good , in fact looking like a world class 6..we are starting to see consistency in his game

Chiefs problems were all at 15 and 10 in my view. Brumbies kicking game vastly superior and Chiefs kick reception skills poor. Thought Ratima and Tupaea had their best games this season amongst it. Narawa looked threatening too.
Tough week for Sam Cane. Congrats on the birth mate. Some things are more important than rugby.
