Chiefs problems were all at 15 and 10 in my view. Brumbies kicking game vastly superior and Chiefs kick reception skills poor. Thought Ratima and Tupaea had their best games this season amongst it. Narawa looked threatening too.
Tough week for Sam Cane. Congrats on the birth mate. Some things are more important than rugby.

I was just going to post this after returning from the game. It was very noticeable how high (like really high) and accurate White's box kicks were so that the Brumbies could compete. His kickoffs were also effective. In comparison, Gatland and Trask's kicking was woeful. Gatland had one of those games while everything I have said about Trask as a fullback was evident in this game.

The Brumbies certainly push the offside line but it seemed that the ARs were only looking at the Chiefs.

In the end, the Brumbies were too efficient and too good. The Chiefs certainly didn't help themselves with numerous mistakes whenever they got close on the scoreboard.

Brumbies much fitter and stronger in the forwards.

        Pretty comfortable in the end.

@Kirwan it was all Valetini. I thought the chiefs made easy gain line with all of their runs except when they came up against him.

He seems to finally be coming into his own.

@Derpus They made easy gain line early in the game, but other than Taukei'aho and Tupaea, not much after that. Brumbies defence was good.

            Ah poop.

            Brumbles better team. Deserved winners.

            Gatland not up to it.

            Trask worse.

            Too many errors.

Lolesio wanted no part of Gus running at him.

Missed most of the game, but probably not a bad thing. Not surprised the Brumbies won giving the Chiefs' recent performances. Nothing to say except gg Brumbies well deserved.

I would suggest Derpus that Valentini is the best 6 in super rugby at the moment, and part of a very good and seemingly well coached team.

Ugh that was a painful watch.

                    Fucking Gatland.

There are a few things I hope Chiefs tweak in remaining games before playoffs. Need to give Rivez Reihana max time at fullback. Hope to see Josh Ioane starting each week at 10. Moli is not back to his old self so happy to see Dyer on bench. And I want to see Mitch Jacobson tried off the bench chasing turnovers and acting as a support runner. Finally Lowe and Narawa are best 2 starting wingers.

Hopefully a few more players like Retallick, Ioane and Weber are back on deck this weekend or next, maybe even Stevenson. McMillan really needs to decide on his best back three from here on, and must realise that Gatland and Trask can't start together.

The Chiefs have played the 3 best Aust teams to date so as long as they win their remaining 3 games should secure 4th position and a home QF. That said, their away record is much better than their home record this season.
