@FakatavaAllBlack Well done Otago, you thoroughly deserved that win. Hawkes Bay need to remember that because you currently hold the Ranfurly Shield, does Not mean any other team will roll over and die. Halftime lately is the Bays problem, that and stupid basic errors. Yes it's the Storm week, but that's no excuse, every team goes through it. I would suggest Tom and Josh have a bloody stern word to these guys and quickly. Yes I know it wasn't the top team, but even they have shown the second half Blues. Do that against North Harbour and the Shield may very well have a new home. Oh but one thing how did the Ref manage to find a knock on off someone's boot and disallow the try.

@Billsy111 TMO and ref said that, first the ball was kicked forward by a boot and then went forward on the ground.

Bugger. That's what you get if you make too many changes to the team line-up. I'm all for giving some 3rd stringers game time, but should have done that against Manawatลซ. I also wonder when they found out that Fakatava would be available for Sunday's game. They should have started Weber in this game and rest him agains the Poo.
Also, we're missing Ash's leadership. I like Tom Parsons, but not the same calibre leader.
Not sure I agree with that knock-on decision, but it is what it is.
Having said that, congrats Otago!
