Is Koloamatangi fit? Last I heard, he was injured. Again. Seems to me like this season might be his last at the Chiefs, as he's been in the squad for three years but it feels like he's been injury free for maybe half a season total.

Yes. Bird is still 2-3 weeks away from being available for selection and BBBR appears to be week-to-week with his rib injury. With Bardoul now likely to be out for a while I would think the Chiefs would be able to bring another player into the squad as a temporary replacement.

The Chiefs schedule is not way worse than the Jaguares at this point of the competition. The Chiefs have travelled, from NZ, for a game in SA and then travelled further to Buenos Aires.

The Jaguares have also travelled, from Buenos Aires, to SA for two games, and then had to travel back to BA. I already mentioned that they had the advantage of the bye last week.

I just don't buy the "poor and far travelled Chiefs" comment. That doesn't make me anti-Chiefs; I reckon you're a bit over-sensitive as it comes to comments regarding your fav Super Rugby team? I'd make the same comment with respect to any Super Rugby team in this situation btw.

Except for the part where they didn't do that, right? They travelled over to SA, played four games in SA (two pre-season games and the first two rounds), travelled back to Buenos Aires and then got a bye to recover. Overall their schedule is harder than the Chiefs but so far? No way.

No idea why anyone would try to downplay how difficult a tour was that took the Chiefs basically on a round trip of the planet in four weeks (NZ -> SA -> Arg -> NZ). Coming away from it with 9 points is huge.

All the stadiums there are used primarily for football so rugby has little choice unless they build their own. The crowds at the local football games can be feral so the fences are needed.

Chiefs and All Blacks flanker Sam Cane is free to play the Western Force in Hamilton this weekend after his citing case was dismissed by a A SANZAAR Judicial Hearing.

The SANZAAR Judicial Hearing has found Sam Cane of the Chiefs not guilty of contravening Law 10.4 (e) Dangerous Tackling, after he was cited during a Super Rugby match at the weekend.

No further sanction has been imposed on the player.
