Some strange refereeing decisions, or at least explanations. Has he just ruled a deliberate knock down for knocking the ball out of someone's hands, or was the penalty for diving over a ruck after the ball is out?
He did both?

Thanks. I don't really see how either is a penalty. Surely you can go over a ruck once the ball is out (it is no longer a ruck) and I have never seen a deliberate knock on ruled when someone else is actually carrying a ball.

@Mackerzzzz I like the ref so far. YC made sense and Fakatava double movement was right.
-
That was a sweet kick too
-
@hydro11 maybe listen to the ref as he says
"You can't dive over the ruck to slap the ball."

I heard it but later he said it was a deliberate knock-on and that the ball was already out. Can you really not dive over a ruck when the ruck is already over?

You can't come over a ruck and slap the ball down off the nine

He later told Billy Harmon the ball was out.

οΈI'm not saying it wasn't a penalty, just his explanation on that (and a few other issues) hasn't made sense to me.

He's actually offside at that point
It's the weird thing of once the ruck ends the guys in the ruck are offside,

Blues must be close to a second yellow
-
Blues looking saderish with the infringing in the 22
-
I was about to say ,Best thing regardless of wether the landers scored or not ..the Blues used up all the YC time in extra time .and then they get another YC

Good call for a scrum
