Kicking directly to Telea was an interesting tactic, he hasn’t had a problem with kicks for a few years now.

Kicking directly to Telea was an interesting tactic, he hasn’t had a problem with kicks for a few years now.

Fuck that was horrible…forgot how gutting rugby can be…had foolishly actually got my hopes up a little
Hunt just seems lost…we seem completely incapable of getting our 11,14,15 into any space…it’s like they’re only there for defence and they’re not good at that
Only enjoyable moments were those scrums…don’t know why we opted to kick for touch when we were doing so well
Ppp leading that counter drive was awesome…want to see more of that

Just watched. Mark Telea fantastic.
Thought Highlanders were combative in forwards though. But could not understand Honey Hireme praising Fakatava. His execution was shoddy all game. Just not hitting his runners and aimless kicking plus some missed tackles. He will improve as he is better than that but Aaron Smith was sorely missed. I thought Hunt did well under lots of pressure but Frizzell was their clear standout.
Christie Beaudie Rieko and Telea were just way too good for Landers backs.
