Chiefs seem to be trying way too hard. I think they just need to be a little more direct in the forwards, build a few phases and then the gaps will open up. Probably chancing their arm too much instead of being patient.

Landers just don’t have the firepower to do anything on attack unfortunately. When you’ve got a no name Argie on the wing and a Pom at fullback, it’s pretty dire times.

The Highlanders problem isn't a lack of firepower at all. They have firepower. They lack cohesion as a team both on attack and defence, and are too inaccurate.

Yeah, one of the worst yellows I have seen. There hasn't even been that many penalties. It is just something refs do out of inertia, without any analysis of the situation.

I know it's early season, but even if his form falls away a bit, I don't see how Stevenson can be ignored for higher honours.
