They’ve come in to support their man, they’re not obliged to let him go like the tacklers are

Agreed. He can be driven forward, but if he gets to his feet he must release the ball first.

Shit was that an aggressive tackle from Choat without going flying in out of control or staying back on his heels? I thought there was only the two extremes.

He is not bad I think - strong on his feet, better hands than Cane. Reminds me of Richie McCaw. Best over the ball in NZ.

@kev Christie probably gets more turnovers than any other player is accurate on the tackle but just not a ball carrier,handy though got some key turnovers last night against the rebels when the Saders were under the pump

I guess you think you have a point if you imagine a different take on what actually happened. Choat, like Ofa,, was coming forward to tackle a player. Both aimed low. The difference is HJH dived to ground, while Botha stayed upright.

The difference is Ofa came flying in out of control, to the extent that he went soaring over the player he was trying to tackle. I'm the one being called a delusional soccer mum, because apparently you have to be a dick name caller instead of discussing, yet you think Ofa and Choat approached their tackles in the same way. Yeah good one.
