McLeod does a lot right eh, doesn't look like much but uses his size well and makes good decisions. Hopefully he carries on this improvement and will be in the running well and truly next year.

Saw the score at halftime and had that sinking feeling. Awesome second half by the sound of it, yet to see highlights or player ratings. Saders have struggled this year, at the same time have brought in a lot of newbies.

@Canes4life is Moananu related to the Poneke boys?

I know he is Auckland raised, De La Salle College, Manurewa club, debut for Counties last year.

Strange, Grace, Goodhue, McLeod, and that new hooker fella gave some bench impact and pushed the Crusaders over the line. Geez, they have some real problems at scrumhalf this year. Drummond is not in the best of form so they have to rely on an aging fella who has lost a bit of pace and energy.
I don't think they will challenge the Chiefs at home. Both forward packs will cancel each other out and I hope I am off the mark but the Crusader's backline firepower seems a bit, meh, without LF, Jordan, etc.

He's an accident waiting to happen, needs to sharpen up. Decent player, but either he's dumb AF, or the red mist really takes over.

@Bones his play this year vs last year is light years apart IMO.

Nice pace shown by Ekuasi, shame he can't even get a start for Auckland...

Having not seen or heard of him before , when he came on I thought the Crusaders had pinched someone from Melbourne club footy at the last minute to cover for Taylor. He doesn't have the professional footy player body shape just yet.

I wouldn't mind if they played the core of that backline next week - with hopefully Big Leicester and Will Jordan on the wings.

Probably Will will start from the bench - assuming he plays.

Maybe off the bench or slot him into the wing spot is most likely.
He is good to go this week just depends how they use him, or they hold him back for the next game easier for him to ease back in.

@Chris I'm expecting the Chiefs-Crusaders game to be pretty intense and physical.

I'm a bit concerned about who we might break on either side - that we might regret later in the year.

@Chris I'm expecting the Chiefs-Crusaders game to be pretty intense and physical.

I'm a bit concerned about who we might break on either side - that we might regret later in the year.

@Chris-B Really wish they would show this on Aussie tv.
