wait, what? I'm not saying "we" don't. But to limit your comment to NZers means you don't read social media from any other country in the world. Or any other sport.

I actually think there has been very little ref bashing on here over the past couple of years, for any level of game. Yes, questions will be raised in games about rulings, but i don't remember too many results being blamed on refs.

For what's it worth I think the standard of refereeing in super rugby has dropped the last few years and the expansion probably hasn't helped with resources stretched thinner with more games to ref. Ditching neutral refs doesn't help either and that's their own fault.

Having said that - I think ref-bashing doesn't necessarily mean blaming the ref for the loss - I thought Lees was horrible in his reffing performance for the Reds-Blues game but not the blame for the loss - the Blues were worse for most of the match.

Moulds, locks Gerard and Scrafton, NZ U20 Dalton Papalií, winger Faátau (who has been injured) and Michael Little are all featuring in the curtain raiser tonight for Blues A.

I reckon Tana has finished fine tuning the Blues and is ready to unleash. Like a guitar, when your tuning it it sounds like shit and anyone listening would think you don't know what you're doing. But once it's tuned it's time to rock and roll 🙂
