Hawke's Bay v North Harbour

Getting a few more excitement butterflies as time gets closer to kickoff despite their being a few misgivings about the lineup named. I had not seen much of Frank Lochore before watching him a couple of times for Central against my Maddison Trophy winning mob but he played with a great deal of aggression so that was a big tick awarded to him (even though it did annoy the crap out of me at the time!). Will have fingers crossed that he can carry that on, just a wee bit worried about it leading to a penalty or two though, especially considering Tom Parsons plays a similar type of game.
The backline does give me a few frowns (particularly the 22) but am prepared to cut it a bit of slack just for this game until I can see if my concerns are justified. Looking at the squad available does kind of limit things a bit but there must be something there given the amount of points knocked up in the preseason games (said without knowing the exact compositions of the opposition teams and not having seem any streams form them).Equally important is the slowness of people putting their hands up for the HB Tipping Team with just @Stockcar86 having nailed his colours to the mast yet.
Call on the likes of regulars like life member @paj, @Stargazer along with diehard Bayites @Billsy111 @Number-10 @Nepia @Magpie_in_aus the call is going out to you guys to joining in this fun and exciting contest. Last year we also had @delicatessen @BorderJB but they fell away with season ending injuries and their availability is unknown.
We need a total of six tippers to give us a full squad in the attempt to give up the unwanted trophy we so easily won last season so the call is out to the above to ensure the wooden spoon is handed over to a more deserving team!

Is IWL injured? Did he play any warmups after returning early from the AB xv tour?

Yeah, I'm reasonably sure he's injured. I assume something happened at ABs XV training before the first game, because I saw him on photos in Japan, but he left early. He didn't feature in the sole Magpies preseason line-up that was published and on the few photos I've seen of him at training, he doesn't actually seem to take part in training and/or is not wearing training gear. Hopefully, it's nothing serious.

Propsicle has turned up to watch the game at my Wellington fale. Sadly I had to send him away to get the beers required but on the promise that I would let him join the HB Tipping team so that still leaves us at least one (or maybe two) short. Still awaiting someone from @BIllsy111 @Number-10 @Paj to make up numbers. Not long to go now so hopefully this reminder might bring fruit!

@Higgins I would love to tip but im incredible hopeless at remembering. Would annoy the team more then help.
