Good to see obvious progress in general. Bates has the pack going well, they have the triggers right on when to hit the breakdown and when to hold off. Attack is clicking more often.. I like the depth they used this week

Defence needs to tighten up

Should have had the game wrapped up by halftime but got there in the end. RTS looks a far better player with a bit more space, as does Evans. Choate and Akira were huge, as was the scrum. Lineout needs a bit of work.

Score line flattered Hawkes Bay, should have posted 50 with all that dominance, but will take a comfortable win.

Choat and Akira were top class, and Sullivan is starting to improve as a ten. Like the depth we are attacking from.
