@Winger I think Preston is probably just taking a rest, he’s played quite a few minutes recently, especially through that storm week.
Sam Howling is okay, still young though and has plenty of developing to do. I saw him play for Poneke against Petone and he was thoroughly outplayed by his opposite but I can't really judge him off one performance considering his team were going backwards.

waikato are struggling to put a team together so chuck the house on welly 13+
dunno what they were doing at training.. but all got head knocks.. cruden, sullivan, quinn, norris all injured.. any suitable u20's.. injured! -
A very under-strength Waikato team. By my count there are 5 starters who weren't even in the original squad. Obviously Filipo couldn't find enough backs. :astonished_face:
