This comp gets a bit weird when there are only 4 games and at least 3 of them are complete home bankers. Plenty of 4/4 result picks but a few were too cautious on the margins. I was the only one to get 3/4 margins by going for Brumbies 17+. Winger pipped me for top score with 68 by getting 20 points out of 20 for the category picks.
Kirwan was too cautious with his picks and his lead is down to 5.5 over Victor with Waynes World in 3rd, Triple T 4th and Bartman 5th. Having 3 of the top 4 is the reason that the Barbarians are 7/7 halfway through the round robin with Blues B and Canes Gold looking good in 2nd and 3rd. The battle is for the 4th playoff spot between Canes Black, SunJags & BOP Chiefs.
The Cup final will be between Higgins and Waynes World next weekend - single leg final so we can fit another cup competition in.

this was always going to happen, despite best intentions - I even set a calendar reminder and I've still managed to forget somehow
@voodoo I only remembered about 10 mins or so into the Blues-Force game...so a garanteed 10 points went begging!

You are not the only! With the two remaining games being ones that could go either way without any result being a surprise we might see our first ever nil score! Luckily for my Barbarians team Rico#1 was on the right side of both last night's surprise results.

When the round is unpredictable, the BOP Chiefs know we can rely on @sportboy to deliver - he delivered 3 maximums for 50 points, the best of the round and 12 ahead of @OomPB & @antipodean - @Unite & @BorderJB the only others over 30.
@NTA was late to tip but scoring zero for the Moana game wasn't unusual - but he was the only one to manage zero points this week, @hydro11 scraped 3 and @Dolamite & @mikedogz just 6.
@kirwan has flopped down to 3rd and Victor takes over at the top with @Waynes-World in 2nd. @BorderJB & @taniwharugby move into the top 10.
Barbarians have a massive lead on the ladder of 13 points but with wins for the previous bottom 3, suddenly all teams still have a chance of the top 4. Canes Gold had the lowest score of the season, just 10 with none of them team scoring higher than 11.
Waynes World won the TSF Cup beating Higgins in the final. Top 32 this coming weekend go into the draw for the Sequel Cup.

Probably a reasonable time (since the wheels are coming off) to admit I outsourced my tipping to Claude AI. I feed in the last three years of results, weighted for 2024 results, and take what it gives me verbatim.
(Which is why you'll see some tips against the Blues).
It's so much better at tipping than me, it's not funny.
