Another tricky week for tipping - most tippers picked 3/4 but there were hardly any margin picks. The exception was @voodoo who had 3 maximums as well as 2 category picks for the best of 55. @sportboy passed 50 yet again picking 4/4 as did Fiamacho and @Hurrycanes. Worst was Rico#1 with just 7.5 and 1/4. Missing tippers were @Tim @Joan-and-Mary @frugby @SouthernMann
Overall Victor retains the lead with Waynes World half a point behind and Triple T just a point back in 3rd - it's very close at the top. Kirwan and Bart round out the top 5, Fiamacho is up to 7th.
Barbarians have probably already sealed their top 4 spot with their 9th win in a row but then there are 6 teams separated by just 7 points and fighting it our for the other play-off spots - South Island have 3 wins in 4 games after losing their first 5.

Amazingly @dogmeat was top scorer with 57, managing to nail 4 games with margins. 56 for @gt12 who picked 6/6 along with @BartMan @Dolamite @Duluth @rico1 & @Nevorian
@Waynes-World has hit the top spot by 4 from Triple T with Victor down to 3rd. Bart is up to 4th ahead of @Kirwan who continues his slow AI descent. Usual title contenders @hydro11 & @Winger are lurking in the top 10.
10 wins out of 10 for Barbarians and also wins for Blues B, SunJags and Canes Black who make up the top 4. SunJags lucky to be playing Blues A as both were down to just 4 tippers.
I'll sort out the Sequel Cup soon, have some ties from last week that need to be adjudicated first.

The Sequel Cup is updated now. You qualified for the 32 based on your score last weekend. 9 players tied on 25.5 and 7 of those went through when DK and Delicatessen picked against the Crusaders in game 1 this weekend. 15 through to the 2nd round and Langakali v OomPB is a replay, winner is the first to go ahead next weekend.

Early leaders are Dogmeat and Waynes World. Average tipping for Dogmeat but somehow he managed to pick all 4 of the categories for 20 points when around half the tippers pick zero categories. Waynes World with 3 maximums out of 6, beaten only by Victor and JL on debut who picked 4/6. Picking all 6 results correctly - 72% went 6/6.
50 tippers in all for week 1, only OomPB and frugby are playing as individuals as their chosen team was full - everyone else has been fitted in somewhere. Please try to keep playing all season as the team results were really close in the first week - wins for Barbarians who go top, SunJags, BOP Chiefs and Canes Black but all losing teams picked up a bonus point for within 7. An attacking bonus point is scored if your team had 3 or more maximums than the opposition - Barbarians and SunJags achieved that.

Tough week to get all 6 results but @antipodean managed it. Only margins missed were the Highlanders and Brumbies wins and all 4 category selections were correct - resulting in a massive season high score of 72. That was 15 clear of @hydro11 & @Machpants who were next best.
The top 3 (all Barbarians players, @Waynes-World, Triple T, Victor) remain the same but ominously the reigning champion Hydro11 is up to 4th, going for a hat-trick of titles. Then it is @Kirwan @winger ahead of @BartMan who plummeted this week.
The Barbarians had their first defeat of the season by a point to Canes Gold but with 3 rounds to go they are already minor premiers. The battle for the other 3 spots is still between 6 teams with Canes Black, Blues B and SunJags holding the play-off places at the moment.
We are through to the Sequel Cup quarter-finals a big tie coming up with Winger playing Hydro11.
