What you got to do to be sent off?

and that's modern rugby. It's a harsh crackdown in theory, but in practice it's dice rolling. And that brings out the frustration and 'what aboutery' ... seeing similar incidents get treated very very differently.

Sheesh, the Reds just seem to be the bogey team for the Chiefs, they just seem to have a defensive pattern that the Chiefs find hard to break down.

The Reds did a great job on D and seemed to only give the Chiefs the ball at the wrong end of the field.

As a Chiefs fan i was dissapointed at the lack of go forward on attack, especially out of the forwards, but credit to the Reds they were hitting a rock wall of defense.

I can only but hope no other team pays any attention to the Reds defensive system and doesn't replicate it at all for the rest of the year 🙂

@Windows97 it's funny because the Waratah's seem to have the Crusaders number, and the Brumbies seem to have the Canes number recently. Certain styles of rugby obviously work against certain sides.

@NTA the Tahs still have the Saders number. Doesn’t matter what form they are in.

@Canes4life and given we were shit on Friday night, what's the bet we have the good week on Saturday?

Blues will be stinging from the loss to the Canes. Maybe I'll watch that first over lunch, then decide how much they'll win by?

@Bovidae yeah, I don't wanna be sour grapes and I've said the Reds deserved the win, but how does the TMO look at it for evidence of needing an HIA but not realize the tackle is illegal? Literally makes no sense.

Just some random thoughts I forgot to get back to about last week's game:

    1. I think Ms Boo Jr enjoyed it more than she let on.

    2. Suncorp is an awesome stadium. Great viewing from everywhere.

    3. Think our seats may have been member's seats passed in. Meant we had drunk entitled Aussie rugby dickheads behind us who thought it was OK to use whatever language they liked with kids and ladies present. Fluffybunnies. ... and also a complete humour vacuum beside me. But ho-hum.

    4. Going back to point 2: so so easy to get food and drink. And even have a leak. Maybe NZ Stadiums have improved. Eden Park, Rugby 0ark (Hamilton), Lancaster Park in the 90s and early 00s just don't compare.

    5. They've toned down the rock concert music!! Thank goodness. Well done Qld Rugby, Stadium Mgmt ... whoever. So much easier on the ear.

    6. Not happy with my record at Suncorp. 1 decent result from 4. Losses: ABs v Wobs 2020, Broncs v Souths (not that I cared too much but was leaning Broncs) 2021, Chiefs v Reds last week vs my only win ABs v Wobs 2014 (Fekitoa, Slade double act).

Wife was at home. Jr on the other side.

Had stuck up twat who had no sense of humour on my left. Really pissed off we lost so didn't have the chance to be condescending.
