    If Lomax is fit then he needs to play and get some runs on the board as others have said.

    Get 40-60 minutes then come off early if game is under control.

      @antipodean only 1 game of the quarters looks like it wont be a flogging.

        The only one where the favourite is 'only' at $1.22 and playign their bogey team.

        The comp is broken when you have favouritism in playoffs like this.

          @nzzp I was asking Taniwha what one he had in mind… because you know, as you posted above, they are all hot favorites so I was asking for his opinion.

          Cheers though

                  With a 6:2 bench it's obvious what the Rebels game-plan is.

                    @Bovidae pretty obvious, hopefully the damage is done before they bring those forwards on.

                      @Canes4life

                      WTF. The short lock disease has returned. Or at least replacement lock.

                      Im pleased Rayasi starts. After week after week of both wings doing SFA. THEN RAYASI HAD 2 WEEKS WHERE HE WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE AND THEN OUTSTANDING

                      f++K caps lock

                        @Winger I knew he wouldn’t replace Moorby but I can see why he’s started. Just hope the ‘good’ Rayasi turns up and not the ‘dumb’ Rayasi.

                          Hope so too. And also Moorby starts playing instead of just going through the motions

                          Canes need to do a lot more on keeping fans up to date on these injuries. We esp need Lomax back even though Tosi is going very well he's missed as an impact Powerhouse

                          Unavailable: Cam Roigard, Caleb Delany, Tyrel Lomax, Ben Grant

                          https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/350300439/super-rugby-pacific-teams-named-quarterfinals

                          But when is he due back??

                          All Blacks tighthead prop Tyrel Lomax remains on the sidelines with bone bruising to his ankle. Pasilio Tosi will continue his streak of playing every Hurricanes match this season, in the No 3 jersey alongside Xavier Numia and Asafo Aumua, who made an encouraging return from a knee injury last weekend.

                              @Canes4life Piri Weepu was saying on the TAB podcast last week he could’ve played last week and should be back this week I guess it hasn’t healed as much as first thought.

                                @mikey07 yeah I was watching him walk around the ground at the game against the Highlanders and he was limping a little bit. Him not starting this week is probably precautionary. He probably would have played if we were playing say the Crusaders and not the Rebels. Tosi has had a big shift lately so hopefully they can keep him fresh through the final stages of the playoffs.

                                    @Landers92 cheers mate for that info, especially after last week had Narawa & Stevenson 1st Try Scorers yet they were only announced as not playing an hour before kick off

                                      @Canes4life Piri Weepu was saying on the TAB podcast last week he could’ve played last week and should be back this week I guess it hasn’t healed as much as first thought.

                                      Piri is fitter than when I last saw him then.

                                        So likely Naholo to the right wing, Moorby to fullback and Morgan will probably come onto the bench.

                                        Was he pulled as a precautionary measure?

                                          I asked who was going to start in 15 but he didn’t get that info, I wanted to jump on first try scorer myself but silly me didn’t realize you couldn’t back someone who is named on the bench anymore haha.

                                          He did say it was just to rest the knee so to my understanding there isn’t any further damage, just precautionary.
