  • O Old Samurai Jack

I personally think whoever wins on Saturday wins the tournament. Blues pack played as individuals tonight. If they do that again in the final, .... I am sure Cotter is well aware and will read the riot act this week though. Plummer, Clarke, Ofa, and Renata were good.

@Old-Samurai-Jack I was quite happy funnily enough haha. I get we weren't at our best for a lot of the game, but what's the point if the game was virtually done and dusted at 25 mins? We virtually stayed in 2nd gear after that which is good, no need to empty the tank when the main job was done.

Hurricanes I can understand thinking they're favourites as they'll be home and have been very good this season but the Chiefs? We bullied them all over the park 2 weeks ago. They did well to only lose 31-17.

@African-Monkey No, they played as "individuals" because they are bad people from Auckland. We have a real genius here.

@Tim Semi final, comfortable 34-20 victory, you offer that to any team in the world before any semi final and they take that any day of the week.

@Dan54 officials did nothing about two of them. Why? Usually the TMO is absolutely erect for anything resembling foul play

Yep mate, why I realised there was nothing there, the TMO would of looked in background and said nothing. Does the TMO have to be on air with everything he checks in background?. Kind of what I was getting at, sometimes these things look one way, but under a quick replay etc maybe aren't?

Like the fella that got sinbinned, TMO told Doleman to relook at how Clarke landed, which he did, and the reason it got upgraded to YC was the fact he actually landed dangerously.

Yeah that first twenty was a fine display of the most in sync individuals in NZ rugby in years. Prolly doesn't fit a narrative though.

Judging by the marked reduction in top since start of season I suspect he's nursing a hammy or something similar.

Interesting that the Funaki kick was something they had trained. Obviously executed poorly though as everyone was put offside

That was 15 wins in a row at Eden Park

By the looks of Vern, it's got an interesting name too.
