I really can't imagine an AB coaching team NOT notice how shut out all the Chiefs forwards were. That was a masterclass.

They weren't allowed too be good
My view is the Chiefs just had a game when the players didn't front. It happens at times. We've all seen team who play like crap one week (Chiefs this game) and play like a different team the next or previous week
Some players are great in a winning team. We want ABs who look great in losing or close games. Blues performances in this game should also be ignored.

Congrats Blues. Dominant performance. Great to send off Akira on a winning note.
Also congrats to the Chiefs on making the final, I'm not death riding them like others fans on here. Spluttered their way there but were deserving finalists in the end and just got done by a better team on the night.
@Nepia Yeah, they put a lot into that semi last week and it was always going to be an uphill task going to Eden Park with a glaring weakness that happens to be the Blues strength, the tight 5.
Gotta give it to the Chiefs, they played out of their skin to get this far.

Vern best super coach. Like the consistency in the Canes, but Vern for me. They (oppositions) knew what the Blues would do and still didn't have an answer.
I am still amazed at the Chiefs forwards & the lack of overall leadership. -

Likewise, the Canes. Some of Robertsons assistances are fairly ordinary. Blues are a much better team this year. There's no comparison
